Which Action Movie Should I Watch?

Avi Mobile was released in theaters by Lions Gate Entertainment and stars Dwoods Bentley, Jason Statham, Emmannuel Chriqi, Patricia Clarkson, Diego Luna, Mark Strong and Cate Blanchett. The story is about an escaped terrorist who stumbles across the U.S. border and then enters a contest to win the latest high stakes prize in town. I love action and this movie gave it all. Skyrocket, on the other hand, is directed by Adam Shankman and starring Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Jessica Simpson, Kay Panabaker, John Turturro, Aida Turturro and Fabio Lanzarote. I like the entire cast, but some of the dialogue seems a little generic. I do, however, enjoy the intense fights that occur between the good guys and the bad guys.

I am sure there were many other choices for me to make when deciding which action movie should I watch next. This list would be endless, but I would suggest avoiding the highly advertised movies that everyone seems to be raving about. There is no sense in watching a movie that is not going to interest you. You can go to any movie theater and watch a mediocre action flick and still come out satisfied. However, if you pay to see these types of movies you might as well be at the receiving end of a stun gun.

The big budget action movies that everyone loves are usually forgettable. The reason they are forgettable is because they are so expensive to produce and release. They also need to have an A-list star presence in order to be profitable. I am sure there are many great movies that would not be on this list that fit this criteria.

If you are one of those people who enjoy the big screen and would like to see movies in 3D then you should consider paying for home video releases of these movies. The price is reasonable and you will always have your favorite action movie to watch. These video stores allow you to rent a video for a low price and then return it when you are done with it. This is an excellent alternative to renting movies at home or going out to see them in the theater.

On the other hand, if you are a purist you may want to stick to the big screen version of these movies.
